Technical Production Manager

Job Description
As the Technical Production Manager, you will be central to the studio and be a key support system for our Production and Design teams. This role requires a detail oriented person with a background in 3D design who can create, interpret and co-ordinate the build documentation required to bring our work to life. You will play a key role in ensuring that the creative vision of the design team is seen through and enhanced until installation, overcoming the challenges we meet along the way. We encourage you to be creative and work closely with the Designers to create the best possible work, and often you will be required to help make their ideas become a reality from a production stand-point. 

In this role, you will assist in all aspects of the production process, including costing and procurement, logistics and administration, working closely with the Head of Production and our Project Management team. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of projects and contributing to the creation of awe-inspiring experiences for our clients.

You will be...
● Supporting the Head of Production in delivering multiple projects across varying timelines
● Responsible for document control systems and coordination of documents received
● Creating and formatting drawing packs from multiple internal and external sources
● Working directly with key suppliers and fabricators to ensure quality of output, and that all design intentions are understood
● Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and fabricators
● Working closely with the Project Management team to track project scope and deliverables
● Implementing quality control measures to uphold our standards of excellence
● Manage the ordering and delivery of samples and materials
● Maintaining understanding and knowledge of production methods, sizes and materiality restrictions matched with cost and
budget parameters, cascading knowledge to the team
● Attending site meetings and presentations with key stakeholders and carrying out site surveys
● Drawing up site elevations and preparing key documents for designers to work with
Qualification
You must have…
● Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
● Level of familiarity with Revit
● Proven experience in a similar role
● Attention to detail and a passion for quality in every endeavour
● Familiarity with site coordination and being point of contact for on-site teams
● A good understanding of design, construction and production processes
● Experience from within an environmental branding, architecture, interior architecture, set-build, signage or similar sector
● An ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving
● The ability to meet deadlines under pressure
● An excellent team player attitude
